Vallée Blanche Malbec 2010, PGI Pays dOc
4 February 2012 Majestic Wine
This Malbec has been produced in a small area close to St. Chinian, in well-exposed and naturally low-yielding vineyards. It strikes an excellent balance between the traditionally robust and tannic wines of Cahors and the more fruit driven Malbecs from the New World, with its concentrated dark prune and blackcurrant fruit coupled with lighter tannins for a more elegant structure. A great accompaniment for strong cheeses or red meat casseroles.
