They were just 6 months old when they were taken from the wild by traders, who held them captive in appalling conditions, whilst they tried to find a buyer for them. Thankfully they were rescued and taken to a sanctuary in the Issyk-Kul Biosphere Reserve, in their native home Kyrgyzstan. By supporting this adoption programme, you can help to provide the long-term care they now rely on.
