The Hornby Sheffield Pullman Train Set
15 November 2010 Clifford James
The extremely popular, yet short lived Sheffield Pullman first went into service in 1927 and operated between Kings Cross and South Yorkshire. Part of the golden age of the steam powered Pullman service, this amazingly detailed Hornby model train set is a highly collectable must for any enthusiast due to the short life of the service it is based on. Also included are two Pullman 1st class parlour cars and a Pullman brake car. This limited edition set also includes an oval of track with siding, measuring 1575mm x 1143mm, controller and scenic Trakmat measuring 1600mm x 1280mm.
