Rioja Gran Reserva 1989, Campillo

Bodegas Campillo is thought of as the jewel in the crown of the Faustino Group, and consists of 50 hectares of prime vineyards, set apart for the making of a small range of top quality Rioja. The wines are fermented in stainless steel vats, then aged for an average of 30 months in French and American oak followed by lengthy bottle maturation, making a total of up to 7 years' cellarage before release.
