Peach : Peregrine 1 feathered maiden

18 August 2008 Thompson & Morgan
Peach : Peregrine 1 feathered maidenThe best English variety since its introduction in 1906! In March early pink blossoms provide eye-catching displays, followed by red flushed white skinned fruits from mid August. This delicious white fleshed peach is a favourite tree for wall training.Propagated onto ‘St. Julien' rootstock, which is very productive with medium vigour, and makes peach trees less susceptible to frost damage. Peach ‘Peregrine’ is self-fertile and therefore does not require a pollination companion. Spray with Dithane 945 to help deter Peach Leaf Curl. Height and spread: 3m (9’) Rootstock: St. Julien.Useful links:How to grow fruit trees Fruit rootstock guide
