Malbec El Dominio, The Adnams Selection

Susanah Balbo is Argentina's winemaking guru and Pedro Marchevsky its pre-eminent viticulturalist so when the decided to get married and start their own domaine it seemed to Adnams that this was the perfect place to source a Malbec worthy of our own label. Although they have several sources of vineyards around the Mendoza region the majority of the Malbec for this wine comes from their 'Dominio del Plata' vineyard in the Lujan de Coyo district. At 980m altitude and composed of well drained, deep loam/clay soils, it produces wines of notable concentration.
