Originating from Mediterranean regions, camomile matricaria, a large and very aromatic annual plant, is now widely present in Europe. Its extract, prepared under heat, contains apigenin, a yellow-coloured flavonic pigment, which leaves blond and golden highlights in the hair. It is endowed with softening and calming properties.
