£110m EuroMillions Jackpot
8 May 2009 by Victoria
The EuroMillions lottery jackpot has now rolled over six times, which means that tonights estimated top prize is now up to £110million (thats £110,000,000!) and if a UK player manages to win this huge amount it would be a record jackpot winning, as the current United Kingdom record holder is Angela Kelly from Glasgow, who in August of 2007 matched 5 main numbers together with 2 lucky stars to win a massive £35.4million (£35,400,000). Not bad for a ticket costing only £1.50.EuroMillions is Europe's largest ever rolling jackpot lottery game. To play, simply select 5 numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 Lucky Stars from 1 to 9.
The EuroMillions draw usually takes place every Friday evening in Paris, with the 5 main numbers being drawn along with 2 Lucky Stars. You only have to match a minimum of three numbers to win a prize, and this could be 3 main numbers or 1 main number and 2 Lucky Stars or 2 main numbers and 1 Lucky Star.
Match 5 main numbers and 2 Lucky Stars to win the jackpot, or a share of it, if there is more than one matching the jackpot numbers.
