Although most famous for producing crisp white wines, Pinot Grigio can be transformed by leaving the white juice in contact with the skins after pressing.These have a blue-pink tint which imparts into the juice after a few hours.This process also adds more weight and depth to the wine. Amanti comes from the Veneto region in the north easterly part of Italy. The area produces lovely, delicate wines and this rose is a classic example. Plenty of summer fruits and lively acidity make this enjoyable on any occassion.
