The action of Baltasur Kormakur’s debut centres on a love triangle between Hlynur, (a 30 yr old Richard Linklater character who lives with his mother and downloads porn) his mother (who doesn’t seem to mind watching TV with her naked son sprawled on the couch) and a former Spanish flamenco dancer (a lovely performance from Gazon Maudit’s Victoria Abril). Oh, and the soundtrack is by Damon Albarn and Einar Sugarcube.PW
